4. App Development and Site Mobile-First Improvements

As part of Bloombox Club's expansion and the shift towards mobile-dominant traffic, led the UX/UI design for the development of a dedicated mobile app, alongside key mobile optimizations for the existing Shopify storefront.

App Concept & Wireframing

Collaborated with stakeholders to define the app’s core purpose: blending plant subscription management, personalized recommendations, and plant care education, all within a seamless mobile experience.

Created user flows and wireframes that prioritized intuitive navigation, product discovery, and subscription control.

UX for Subscription Management

Designed a self-service subscription hub, where users could easily:

Pause, skip, or edit their subscription

Access plant care reminders and resources directly in-app

Interactive Plant Care Features

Integrated plant care guidance with push notifications and an in-app knowledge base

Developed visual care cards with icons for light, watering, difficulty, and pet safety, ensuring accessibility for beginners

E-Commerce Integration

Unified the subscription flow with one-off product purchases, creating a cohesive shopping experience

Designed responsive product listings optimized for quick scroll and easy add-to-cart, leveraging thumb-friendly card layouts and uncluttered filters

Performance & Usability Focus
